Ghost Mannequin Editing for UAE Fashion Brands

Ghost mannequin editing (also called invisible mannequin or hollow man) removes the mannequin from your fashion photography and reconstructs the inner neckline, sleeves and back so the garment appears to float in three dimensions. It is the preferred presentation on Namshi, Ounass, Noon Fashion and Amazon Fashion because it shows the fit and structure of the garment better than a flat lay.

What is ghost mannequin editing and why it converts

Ghost mannequin editing takes a garment photographed on a mannequin and removes the mannequin while reconstructing the inside of the garment — neckline, sleeves, hem, back — so the apparel appears three-dimensional without a visible support. The effect is a clean, floating garment that shows fit and shape clearly.

Compared to flat-lay photography, ghost mannequin shots convert significantly better on fashion ecommerce because shoppers can see how the garment hangs, how the collar sits and how the back looks. Compared to on-model photography, ghost mannequin is faster, cheaper and more scalable — every colour and size variant can be produced consistently without booking models for each shoot.

This is the standard presentation on Namshi, Ounass, Noon Fashion and Amazon Fashion, and increasingly on Shopify DTC apparel brands. It signals 'professional fashion brand' the way that on-mannequin or flat-lay does not.

Our ghost mannequin process

We need two shots per garment: the garment on the mannequin (front), and the inside back of the garment laid flat or photographed without the mannequin (the 'inside neckline' shot). From these two source files we reconstruct a single ghost mannequin image where the garment appears to float with the inner neckline and back visible through the opening.

For full multi-angle sets we produce front, back, side and detail views — all consistent in shadow, light direction and white balance so the gallery on the product detail page reads as one coherent set. We also offer 'half ghost' (front only) at a lower price tier for catalogs where back views are not required.

Colour and size variants of the same garment are produced as a grouped set so the variant gallery on Namshi, Noon or Shopify shows a consistent presentation across the entire SKU family. Style is locked: same shadow direction, same crop ratio, same neckline reconstruction style.

Marketplace compliance for ghost mannequin images

Namshi requires ghost mannequin or model photography on apparel — flat-lay alone is not accepted in most categories. Noon Fashion strongly prefers ghost mannequin for the primary image. Amazon Fashion main images cannot show a mannequin head and must be on pure white, so ghost mannequin is the natural fit. Ounass accepts ghost mannequin alongside on-model premium photography.

We deliver ghost mannequin images on pure white #FFFFFF backgrounds at 2000 to 3000 pixels square in sRGB JPG, with transparent PNG variants available for storefront overlays. Files are SKU-named to your spec and bundled as a ZIP with separate folders per angle.

Bulk ghost mannequin editing for fashion catalogs

We process fashion catalogs of 50 to 1000+ SKUs per week with style locked across the catalog. Turnaround is 24 to 48 hours for standard batches; rush options available for marketplace launches and seasonal collection drops. Monthly retainers are common for fashion brands and agencies running continuous new-arrival catalogs.

Pricing is per garment with volume tiers and per-angle add-ons. Half ghost (front only) is the lowest tier, full ghost with back reconstruction is the standard tier, and full multi-angle sets (front, back, side, detail) are the top tier. We invoice in AED, USD or other major currencies and provide a fixed quote within 24 hours of seeing your sample images.
